Laura

I am Laura, owner and lead photographer of LWP. I live by the philosophy that a life outdoors is a life well-lived. That family, friends and four legged fur babies bring the greatest joy. To me, family always comes first and there is no replacement for authenticity and honest-to-goodness kindness.

Being from the Midwest, I think everything tastes better with a little bit of ranch.  I drink my coffee with lots of half and half, making it a pretty taupe color. I'm always on the hunt for new colors, forms and textures, in search of inspiration and the perfect patch of natural sunlight.

I have spent my career making my clients feel beautiful, relaxed and happy in front of the camera. I value the importance of tradition, customs and legacies and I am firm believer that love is love. I fully support marriage equality.

Currently I divide my time between Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. Spending my free time with my husband Chris and our two dogs, Cosmo and Knuckles.
