Frequently Asked Questions

How did you get into photography?

Yes I started my photo education in high school by attending a specialized vocational school my senior year. I studied visuals communications at Ohio University before working in New York City and finally opening my own professional studio in Chicago.

Do you have a studio?

Yes, the studio is located on the corner of Fulton and Damen Streets in downtown Chicago but we are available to travel worldwide to meet the demands of our clients. Studio office hours are by appointment only.

How many weddings have you photographed?

I photographed my first wedding in 2004 and have photographed over 200 since then, I spent my first 8 years in Chicago working as an assistant, studio manager and lead photographer with some of Chicago’s top commercial photographers.

Will you be the photographer my wedding?

Absolutely! To ensure my signature style, I photograph all engagement sessions, portraits and weddings sessions. If you book a two photographer wedding I will be accompanied by a second associate wedding photographer.

How do we go about booking you to photograph our wedding?

It’s simple. You contact the studio to set up a private in person or phone consultation. We discuss every detail of your wedding day, view sample wedding albums and I answer any questions that you may have regarding your big day. When you are ready to book, I require a non-refundable retainer along with a signed contract. Services are provided on a first come first serve basis and no wedding date is held without the retainer and contract.

How many pictures will I receive?

You will receive approximately 800-1000 color corrected, edited, digital files in jpeg file format for a wedding lasting 8 to 10 hours. We take great pride in the editing and color correcting process and raw or unedited photographs are not available.

What about a Wedding Albums. Do you offer them? Do I need one?

You are not obligated to purchase an album but it is highly encouraged. I strongly believe that your photographs should be printed and wedding albums are the ideal way of showcasing your memories. I offer both traditional matted and contemporary flush mount wedding albums.

We shoot with professional Canon digital equipment.
